Our workshop is equipped with machine tools and mechanical equipment that allow you to produce mechanical components of various kinds and material, of our design or customer's design. The components can be used in any application, in various sectors of industry and/or research, with particular reference to applications for the precision mechanics.

We manufacture parts and mechanical units of various materials (plastic, aluminum, steel, stainless steel, various alloys, titanium, etc.), generally individual pieces or small series, providing the finished components, including treatment (hardening, nitriding, galvanizing, anodizing, burnishing, polishing, etc.).

The dimensions of the components are small and medium, vary depending on the type of work required, with regard to the milling can build pieces inscribed in a cube of side 500 mm (5-axis machining), and pieces inscribed in a box 1000x500x600 mm3 (3-axis machining),we handle bars for turning diameter 300 mm and length up to 1000 mm (semi-automatic processing) and diameter 200 mm and length up to 250 mm (automatic processing).

Similarly, for grinding processes and wire EDM.

UM & Mitaq designs or executes according to customer's drawing, manufactures and assembles, special equipment to be used by workshop or other uses unique and / or specific:

  • Jigs and template for machining and positioning

  • Kits and components for securing machines
  • Structures and/or frames for special industrial applications
Prototypes

UM & Mitaq designs or executes according to customer's drawing, manufactures and assembles, prototypes of mechanical assemblies for machinery, tools and equipment for industrial use and/or for research.

In addition to the management of the mechanical part, is also developed with the integration of the electric and electronic components, from design to assembly and testing, in close collaboration with the customer.

We also build prototypes for specific uses such demonstration for educational applications and / or for conventions and trade shows.

Machines

UM & Mitaq designs and builds special machines upon customer's request.

It is predominantly single executions, not in series, able to perform automated operations of handling, sorting, selection, assembly and/or control of small to medium components, of various kinds.

Although designed and built specifically requested by the customer, these machines represent an inner product brand and warranty UM & Mitaq, according to the Machinery Directive.

In addition to complete machines, we design and build machinery parts (the so-called "partly completed machinery" of the European Directive), that is groups generally able to perform the function of automatic slaving, that can be employed only if properly inserted in a machine or in an automation line.
